Below you will find all the information you need to learn about credentialing at SPI. Sandhills Physicians, Inc has delegated credentialing with MedCost and Humana Choice Care. We do not have delegated credentialing BCBS. You will find the Application, Instructions and Reference Sheet.
Please note the following changes in Sandhills Physicians Membership fees effective January 2025.
1. Full Time Physicians – $2000 stock purchase / $1200 annual fee
Full time Physicians will be required to submit a $500 non-refundable fee with their credentialing application for consideration of membership in Sandhills Physicians, Inc. Upon acceptance of membership, the physician will submit the remaining $1500 to complete their $2000 stock purchase. An annual fee of $1200 will be required to retain membership in the organization. The annual fee may be paid in one of the following methods:
a. Annually – $1500 due February 15th
b. Quarterly – $375 on February 15, May 15th, August 15th and November 15th
c. Monthly – $150 on the 15th of each month until complete.
2. Part Time Physicians – $1000 initial fee/ $300 annual fee
Part Time Physicians will be required to submit a $500 non-refundable fee with their credentialing application for consideration to participate in Sandhills Physicians, Inc. Upon acceptance, the physician will be required to pay an additional $500 for a total of $1000. An annual fee of $300 will be required to remain in Sandhills Physicians, Inc. The annual fee may be paid in one of the following methods:
a. Annually – $300 due by February 15, 2025
b. Quarterly – $75 due February 15th, May 15th, August 15th and November 15th, 2025
c. Monthly – $30 on the 15th of each month
3. Mid-level providers – $1000 initial / $0 annual
A mid-level provider will be required to submit a $200 non-refundable fee with their credentialing application for consideration to participate in Sandhills Physicians, Inc. Upon acceptance, the mid-level provider will be required to pay an additional $800 for a total of $1000. An annual fee will not be accessed for a mid-level provider.
